Had on tap at the brewery, but reviewing from an ultra-fresh bottle I brought home.
A: Practically no head, no lacing, but has a wonderful hazy amber orange color to it.
S: Bubblegum dominates. A touch of clove. Sweet malty scents come through a touch at the end. A little grassy, possible hints of banana, but not as prevalent in many other weizen brews. Very pleasant.
T/M: Some clove, spiciness, malty sweetness; bubblegum takes a bit more of a backseat here. Not an overly complex taste. Mouthfeel is a little on the watery side, but not overly thin and still nice with a touch of a spicy "bite."

Served on-tap at the brewery during their regular Saturday brewery tour on 07.05.08.
Ruddy orange in color, not quite clear, with a plentiful fluffy off-white head of about an inch or so. Looked great in the pint glass! Fantastic lacing all the way down.
The initial aromas are the classic bubble gum smells of a fresh wheat beer, but just beyond that is a ton of malty goodness coming forward. A swirl produced a more pronounced aroma of both. This is my first Weizenbock and it was an interesting aroma.
The flavors were another interesting mix of wheat, pale, and crystal malts. The malts were clearly the highlight of the brew but there was a nice mellow but citrus hop presence that brought everything together well. Mostly balanced and quite satisfying. Carbonation was light to moderate which seemed to match perfectly with the flavors at hand and made for a lively swig. The finish is moderately long and malty with just a touch of that wheat aftertaste.
I thought this was a cool twist on a bock! As a style, it seems to meld the best of a wheat beer with the best of a bock, two styles that I don't know that I would have considered combining before now. Congrats to the guys at CBC on 13 years of great brews and another kick-ass anniversary brew!

On-tap at 42nd St Oyster Bar. Served in a chilled glass and the bartender was nice enough to replace it with a non-chilled one. The beer was a nice hazy dark orange with a thin diminishing head. Aroma was nice sweet fruits and malts in a nice balance. Taste was more of the same. The beer was smooth and medium bodied with low carbonation. This is a decent beer, but I was hoping for more in an anniversary ale.
