Note: Bottled 10/21/15
A: Pours a murky reddish copper in color with light to moderate amounts of active visible carbonation along the edges of the glass and moderate honey + amber highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense foamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a couple of small medium thick patches of larger bubbles surrounded by a very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of caramel malts with a light amount of sweetness and slightly stronger than moderate aromas of herbal, floral, and citrus/grapefruit pith hops.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit and caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of herbal, floral, and citrus/grapefruit pith hops which impart a moderate amount of bitterness which lingers for a short amount of time.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light hints of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink and enjoyable - not mind blowing and certainly not one of those IPAs that people are rushing out to grab when it is available but a solid offering. Alcohol is well hidden and the hop flavor and aromas are nice. Not voerly sweet.

The beer is redish orange and clear with a foamy amber tinted white head. Pretty fluffy... A ring and sheet form about half way through. Aroma is sweet followed by bready malt and lightly piney hops, flowers, soap, perhaps lemon, and something that makes me think of raspberry. Taste is similarly floral and soapy, with brisk bitter hops through the finish. The maltiness is less present and the fruity flowery hops have a larger impact. Citrus rind is also there. Pretty decent beer here.

Bottled on 11/19/14.Not retired now brought back and at 6.3% abv.Poured into a nonic a deep bronze color with a thinner white head atop.Big grapefruit hops in the nose along with underlying leafiness, somewhat nutty in the malt aromas.A decent shot of resinous hops at the onset of the palate with more of that grapefruit as well, even a earthy note, the malt base is not overly sweet giving off some nuttiness and caramel/biscuit.Not bad,it won't blow your mind but it's pretty darn good.

OK. This is the Summer 2009 Wiggo. My bottle says bottled 6/3/09. This is not the holiday Wiggo. I think its an IPA.
Appearance: Clear orange red with a little white head. Almost no lacing. Hey, maybe this is a red.
Smell: It smells sweet and malty with some floral hops.
Taste: Nice floral hops bitterness and good balance with the sweet malty flavors.
Mouthfeel: Nice carbonation. Not too thick. Goes down nice and easy.
Drinkability: Mine's almost gone. This stuff is great and thirst quenching after cutting the lawn. Another solid beer from a brewery that continues to make good stuff-- never mindblowing, but always good solid beer that I can recommend without reservation.
