A nice malty Oktoberfest, not too complex but well done.

A: Pours a crystal clear medium copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and some faint amber + ruby red highlights. The beer has a finger tall foamy dark beige head that reduces to a couple of small patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering about 75% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of toasted and bready malts with just a hint of grainy + caramel malts. Light aromas of floral + earthy hops.

T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of toasted + bready malts with a light amount of grainy + caramel malts contributing a touch of initial sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of floral + earthy hops contributing a light to moderate amount of bitterness which fades away pretty quickly.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth.

O: Decent but not great, perhaps a little too much of the house toasted malts in this brew for me. Easy to drink.

Sampled from a 12oz bottle purchased at the brewery.

A - Amber with good clarity and a small white head.

S - Initially and then as you agitate it, I got a hint of cardboard. But otherwise pleasant with toast and a slight sweetness.

T - A tasty malt base with a slight hop bitterness. Crisp and clean with a nice dry finish.

M - Smooth and slightly creamy with a low carbonation.

O - A good offering from my most local brewery.
