Look: It pours amber with an off white head. Head retention is very good.
Smell: It has bready aromas up front with a touch of honey and spice.
Taste: It is quite malty with bready flavors with the spice being a bit more noticeable in the flavor than in the aroma. There are honey hints to it.
Feel: It has a medium body with low bitterness in the finish.
Overall, a nice easy drinking beer.

Heavy bodied and very smooth. Flavor is sweet and malty, but lacks complexity.

On-tap at Pig Pounder Brewery, Greensboro, NC
A: The beer is clear yellowish amber in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high off white head.
S: The smell is rather malty and has faint bits of malty sweetness.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste is all about the malts. No bitterness is perceptible, but there are enough underlying hops to prevent this from being a sweet malt bomb.
M: It feels medium- to full-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. There are faint amounts of warming from the alcohol.
O: This beer does its job well and could warm you up if you were drinking outside on a chilly spring day. The taste, however, can seem to be a little on dimensional and could use a little spiciness from the hops.
