Hazy, amber color. Big, white head. Aroma of malt, hay , and herbs. Sweet, malty taste with moderate hoppy bitterness at the end. Nice, European-style beer.

Copenhagen 1/8 2022. 50 cl bottle from Private Selection, Rødovre Centrum, Rødovre. Yellow label with Konrad's characteristic logo and a black stylized eagle.
Pours unclear light amber with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intensewith sweet malty odor mingling with sour grains and alcohol. Sweet pale malts, honey and caramel. Fermented apricot. Metal alcohol. Sharp sour notes.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, slightly greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with rough bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Quite boozy fora beer who holds an ABV of only 6,0 with metallic alcohol bleeding through.

This is a Czech strong lager (14 degrees, 6% ABV) and as such it is different from the lezaks, more intensive, more malts, heavier drinkability. Was not a big fan of this but still it is much better than your average (Euro) strong lager. For me, there are too much malts and too much intensity in it - but hey, that is what it supposed to be about.

Poured from a brown 16.9 oz. bottle. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of grains, malts. Taste is malts, grains, light hops and alcohol, a touch of sweetness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a refreshing and decent beer.
