May 2019: On tap at Cafe Chic Oldschool, Hjørring. ABV 5.2%. Golden colour, white head. Fresh pilsener aroma and flavour, fairly well hopped. Nice to drink with food.

Clear, golden color. Medium-sized white head. Aroma of herbs and malt, and bread. Malty taste with pleasant, hoppy bitterness. Light body, high carbonation. Good pilsner.

Excellent czech lager. Strong, bitter taste, solid white crown. I think it's so much better than Plzeňský Prazdroj.

I'm glad I came across this lezák in Tesco because this is a quite nice Czech pilsner for quite cheap. Smells and tastes trademark Saaz-like, these hops have a smooth flowery nature so typical of the Czech beers that I love and welcome anytime - much better than the Germans. Also they are quite low on natural carbonation like this one, giving it a smooth mouthfeel. And with every sip, every tilt of the glass the Saaz hops are overwhelming, I love this feeling.
In my opinion this was a great find, because of its Saaz-iness, bringing back the memories of nostalgic days in Prague. Recommend it, it is better than you might think!
