Where'd the head go? A turtle beer? Iced tea body with only an occasional bubble in the shaker--flat? A sweet scent with a minimal hop quality--in fact, the malts in the glass make this more of an American amber "lager" than an ale... fizzy and active beteween the teeth... spritsy and thin on the tongue...can feel gas manifesting in the stomach...sharp, bitter, and a bit abrasive... not the easy-drinking, peanut and pretzel-popping component--a bit of random caramel? Pales in comparison to more drinkable ambers, but not bad for the $3.98 I paid (with club card) at Bottle King... a value? Eh, it's Pennsylvanian....

Appearance has a medium amber with a thin crisp head. Smell of light honey and malt. Taste is a bit thin with a slight honey sweet, biscuity malt and mild hops having an average mouthfeel. Not bad for $3.99 a sixer at the local grocery outlet, I also like the puzzle caps.

The appearance is that of a light honey colored liquid which appears very clean. Little to medium head.
Aroma is that of a sour apple with some biscuit and hops smells present but not in the forefront.
Flavor is a mouthpuckering sour that is somewhat grainy for the style with a definite biscuity taste and some hops bitterness present.
Mouthfeel is hard to discern what with all the puckering going on.
Drinkablility is just somewhat above not impressed, but definitely not something I would choose to drink as a session beer. It is very possible that this specific beer was mishandled as I got it from a discount store whose stock dates to who-knows-when.

Pours an ultra clear amber to orange colored ale with a fast fading head.
Smell is fruity from a British ale type of yeast. Sniffing deeper I detect bread dough and malt with a little bit of caramelization present. A bit light but it does smell like an ordinary British ale.
Taste is mildly malty and a little bitter in the first taste. The fruity scent is mirrored by fruity the flavor. Mildly sweet and a barely detectable hint of metal are present. Good amount of herbal hop bitterness in the flavor. This could pass for a perfectly good ESB.
Mouthfeel is on the thin side.
Drinkability is not half bad. A touch boring I suppose, but it can pass for an average ESB. I could see buying this again for the right price.

Taste is mostlyof toated malts, but its rather weak and seems watered down.
Mouthfeel is average for the style.
Its not a horrid beer, but it is certainly not exciting..ok I suppose.
