Stegmaier High Dive is traditional Belgian-style wheat ale that boasts a dense pale straw color with a velvety white head. Our brewers masterfully blend the finest extra pale two-row and white malts to bring a crisp taste to the brew. High Dive captures a satisfying sweetness by introducing unique ingredients such as sweet orange peel, curacao bitter orange peel and coriander. Enjoy straight from the bottle or served with a slice of orange, this witbier is a perfect way to dive into summer!

Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is very light straw, slight haziness, head is off white with fine bubbles and presents just 1/4 inch thick and dissipates to just a ring.
Smell is light wheat and biscuit, subtle orange and hint of yeast and spice.
Taste is pretty thin but there is wheat and biscuit, light orange, hints of yeast and maybe some coriander.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, lower bitterness and light spice.
Overall a i would call this a light witbier as its not quite malty but has light sweetness, easily drinkable.

Stegmaier has barely made any improvements. Bland and boring.

a very refreshing summer brew with the orange in there, works for out of the bottle refreshment in warmer weather. hazy pale in color, but holding a decent white head, and smelling more like lager beer than anything else, although the orange peel is unmistakable. some the about the water with the beers from these guys. it has a different chemistry or ph or something, its not off at all, but is there in the finish of everything they make. i find it pleasantly mineral based, slightly phosphoric, but clean and not distracting or filling or leaving any weird residue on the palate. citrus fruit throughout this beer, orangey and juicy and fresh and ripe. the beer itself is real light, clean and drinkable. its summer beer for sure, but doesnt really take the style anywhere it hasn't been a few hundred times already. fully active carbonation and a crisp finish. down easy right from the bottle, i could have upwards of ten of these under the right conditions. not as good as their winter, but still well tasty.
