Bought the growler at Whole Foods with only "Summer Ale" written on the cap, seems a bit late for a summer ale but they just started appearing.
Pours a slightly dark pale yellow color, decent head comes from the growler even though not much carbonation seems present.
Smell is mostly malty, slight citrus aroma, not much hop presence, seems a bit grainy.
Taste is crisp and semi-light, malty up front with a bit of grainy bitterness at the end that lingers.
Not entirely sure how I feel about this beer but it's always good to see a local brewery getting more product out there.
