Pours clear, light brown in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is coffee, roasted malt, and baker's chocolate. Above average porter. I enjoyed other Mash House brews more, but this one is good.

Pours (from the growlergiven to me by a friend) a dark brown with a small head. This beer is dangerously easy to drink due to the super pleasant taste!

Poured on-tap at The Mash House and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a dark brown to black coloring with a halo of white head. Nose of milk chocolate, roasted notes, and coffee highlights. Flavors are a caramel and milk chocolate blend, with hints of roasted notes. Smooth and light bodied, with a tangy, sweet aftertaste. Like a Caramello candy bar. Smooth, clean finish, with a sweet linger. Very tasty.

On tap at Tribeca Tavern in Raleigh

A - dark brown bordering on black with a big cap of soft, dense, off white head that has great retention

S - roasted malt, faint coffee

T - roasty, faint coffee, faint bitter finish

M - med bodied, crisp

This beer has decent flavor akin to an Irish Dry Stout though not as creamy. It's easily drinkable but a bit over carbonated. I wouldn't turn this down.

Served on tap in pint glass at the brewpub. Appears a dark brown, almost black with thin head that fades. Aroma of toasty malt and a touch of hops.
Taste is similar, with chocolate notes. Average body and carbonation. Solid brew but nothing special.

On tap at Tribeca Tavern in Cary, NC.

Clear, dark brown... mahogany even. No head, no lacing. Aroma is nice, but too faint. Bitter chocolate is about all that's there.

Taste is a bit more prominent, a touch of roasted grain, bakers chocolate. Very dry finish, but a bit over-carbonated. It's an easy drinker, but a bit lackluster.
