Very strong and very powerful. All of the hop flavor and bitter that you'd want. Pine-ey and grassy, a bit oak-like, and that 'bite' that hangs in the back of the throat. The malt profile is simple, but huge. A decent citrusy sweetness that balances the hops nicely without being thick or cloying. Pure and simple. Not overly complex. These traits appear in the aroma and reamin consistent into the initial flavor, body and finish. Mild warming in the finish. Dry from hops and alcohol. Although a solid beer, it gets lost in the shuffle with other great IIPA's

Appearance - Amber colored body with a nice head
Smell - Strong citrus nose with a wonderful whiff of lemons and sour orange rind; smells like a box of Indian River citrus fruit
Taste - A bit more balanced than I was expecting, given the 74 IBU rating; sweet caramel and vanilla malt offset by the bitterness from the cascade hops
Mouthfeel - Well carbonated, but a bit slick in the mouth
Drinkability - A nice brew, but I think I'll stick with their Hoppy Hour IPA, which was "hoplicious" enough for me
