Pours a dark amber color with a thin head that quickly dissipates and is easily roused. Medium carbonation with a smooth mouthfeel. Aroma is of sweet malt, earthy and nutty, butterscotch, and slight hops. Taste is of course malty sweet, as well as nutty and fruity. Finish is sweet and slightly bitter. Even with the ABV limitations to which the Mash House is subjected, this is a very good maibock. I'll be filling my growler with this again on my next trip to the hometown.

Poured a deep golden with some orange tint with a thin head but had a nice clear color, aroma was mainly of citrus fruit with some toasted grain,no alcohol aroma wich sometimes might be associated the style but that was to be expected I guess with this crazy law down here.Nice flavors going on very malty and pretty sweet but not overly so I picked up some pineapple and some doughy qualities.A lighter version of a spring classic I could spend a day drinking this.

Great spring beer. Pours a golden yellow. Couldn't judge the head due to tasting in a 2.5 oz shot glass. The nose on this Maibock was a clean citrus lemon, orange combo with hints of malty sweetness. The flavor is light, clean and refreshing citrus with hints of malty sweetness. Great beer.
