On tap at the Powerhouse Restaurant
A This beer is a deep amber color, with a decent head on it.
S The smell of this beer is pretty faint however you can pick up hints of malts but the faintness makes it difficult to find something.
T The taste of the beer is decent. There is a distinct malty taste to it which is enjoyable, along with a hint of caramel, sweetness and hops. But like the nose it is kind of underwhelming.
M The mouthfeel is mediumish, not to heavy but not light either, possibly the best part of the beer.
Overall this was an average beer, not bad but not good either. There was nothing about it that stood out in any particular way. There are much better Scottish ales out there that I would rather have over this one.

Had this a few times at Powerhouse while scarfing down a Salmon Pizza
Poured a deep amber color with decenet carbonation and a small white head. Nose was kind of faint with a deep malt, caramel, chewy. Tasted like it smelled only with metallic taste to it. Mouthfeel is malty, caramel, a light bit of hops. Drinkability was ok.

A visually beautiful beer of deep oak-maroon and sullen manners, it has a frail but piquant, musty aroma and a predominantly sweet flavor accented with a compliment of peat. The flavor comes across as conspicuously quirky at times, but its provocative nature is engaging and fun.
