Actually like this beer but it's more pale ale than IPA to me. Unsure what hops were used but this may be more of an east coast style or British, so being accustomed to the west coast I may be judging to harshly.

Poured a light copper color with a small white head. Nose was hoppy, dry and weak. Taste was dry, hoppy, citrus, floral. Mouthfeel has an aftertaste, almost like it was brewed with a battery in it or with copper. Hop bitterneess with a thin cheap, malt backbone. I have had homebrew waaay better than this!

Some may enjoy this IPA moreso than myself, but I found it suffers from searing citric overkill and couldnt appeal to my tastes. The dense, dark orange color is hypnotic and the flamboyant lace is elegant. But the initial aroma of dishwater detergent seemed to erode any innate hop smell. The flavor hits the palate like a fistful of grapefruit rinds and the bitterness sits like a fat kid on the seesaw no balance. Chalk this one up to too much of a good thing.
