Birdsview offers two amber ales on its menu. This one is described as more malty than Scraps. Its also much more purposefully designed and agreeable to drink. As with many other Birdsview beers, Brand X offers a lively mashtun smell of fresh cracked grains. I enjoy this smell a great deal, and its not entirely out of place here. But Ive worked my way through all of Birdsviews beers and havent smelled hops once. Oh well, thats hardly relevant here.
Brand X showcases a moon crater head, determined lace, a full, glossy mouthfeel, and a dark cinnamon colored body. It is a clean, uncomplicated session ale with a balanced finish and strong carbonation. As for the malts, I would call more grain than malt.
