Ate here while visiting Pagosa Springs and really enjoyed our meal. The food was really good and the atmosphere while very rustic was nice. They have a large beer garden and it would have been nice to sit outside on a warm day. The value for what you get is excellent.

Visited 9/28/12 on a beer trip through southwest Colorado. Recommended by friends who have a ski house in Pagosa Springs. We were seated in the beer garden at a table for two. Not much atmosphere, no music, some flag decorations for Oktoberfest. There is a small bar and very limited indoor seating. About six beers available (Wolf Creek Wheat, Kayaker Cream Ale, Pagosa Pale Ale, Powder Day IPA, Poor Richard’s Ale, Soaker Stout). I went with the Kayaker Cream Ale to start based on a good review in All About Beer and its gold medal at the World Beer Championships. See my review of this different and very good beer. Went well with the excellent salmon fish and chips. Wife had the bratwurst and kraut. She had the brewpub's Mutton Buster root beer which was lacking sweetness. I had a Soaker Stout for dessert. The stout was`excellent, very chocolatey. Made me wish I'd gotten the stout float. Great beer, good food, on the inexpensive side, just lacking any atmosphere. Was a happy camper on leaving. Will be going back to try some of the other beers.

Well I would love to visit this place in the summer, but was out there for ski season, and let me tell you, its cold, and there's tons of snow in these parts.

Some awesome ipa's on tap, the double is huge. Service was really good, gets crowded inside, ski bums, locals, tourists etc. . . cool little impromptu tour they run you through upon request, totally informal. Good pizza, filling. This is pretty much what every ski area needs, a little, good microbrewery with good pub grub. Enjoyed every beer I had from this place. Hope to go skiing out there next season, would definitely stop by this place again.
