I was happy to hear this beer was on cask. I ordered it right away.
Everything about this beer is smooth and malty. The beer starts out completely dark with a one finger tan head. The aromas are dark and roasty, but nothing harsh. The taste is absolutely perfect. Dark roasted malts, along with hints of chocolate. There isn't much bitterness to this beer, most of it comes from the malts rather than the hops. This is a fantastic beer, and if you get a chance to try it make sure you take the opportunity, especially if it's on cask.
