Had on tap at Vintage 50 poured into a 16oz English pint glass. Poured a dark hazy golden color with a nice head that fizzles quickly but retains nice lacing throughout. Nose is picking up German pilsner malts, biscuits, and some bitterness in the aroma. Taste the pilsner, biscuits, and bitter hops (imported English Challenger and First Gold). Light to medium bodied and decent carbonation throughout. A pleasant beer that I liked very much!

On-tap into 16oz nonic style pint glass.
Amber with a light red tint, and hazy. The aroma is light giving wisps of sweet malt and bitter piny hops. The flavor has some malt in it, but the hops provided most of the flavor. Full bodied with good carbonation. This is more of an English Barleywine, where the hops are assertive but they don't go over-the-top like a lot of American Barleywines. I really enjoyed this one. It has a high drinkability for the style. Recommended.
