500 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgaard. ABV is 5.4%. Sampled 1 month before BB date. Pitch black colour, large to moderate tan head. The aroma is fairly fruity and sourish for a stout, also notes of chocolate. The flavour is also sourish and slightly fruity, then the more expected notes of chocolate and coffee take over. Not much sweetness. Moderate hops. Far from undrinkable, but I might re-rate if I get a fresher bottle.

A- Poured from the tap with 1/2" of tan foam, which was well-retained and produced some nice lacing throughout the drink. The body was a beautiful reddish-brown... almost black... The opacity of which masks the appearance of any carbonation that may be present.
S- Smells of black olive juice and soft cheese, with lesser aromas of roasted malt... not very appetizing nor a sign of anything good to come...
T- Tastes cheesy and saline with a touch of roasted malt flavor. The finish is mildly sour. No hops were detected by taste nor aroma.
M- Big body... textured with plenty of unattenuated sugar, and complimented by some nice soft carbonation.
D- Uh... horrible. I drank just enough to perform this review, and the rest was a metaphoric "drain pour". Don't care to have this one again.
NOTE: This beer started-off quite pleasant when it was cold, but the cheesy and saline notes immediately emerged as the beer warmed... and that's where I was turned-off...

Reviewed solo @ The Gingerman NYC,
Appearance: Brown and maple in color with little head.
Smell: I can't really pick out a distinct aroma but overall there is an earthiness that is similar to their valdmoesel.
Taste: Opens grainy which is pretty consistent throughout. From the middle to the end there is a slight tangy earthiness and a subtle hint of sweet caramel near the finish, leaving a earthy, tangy and mildly hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with moderate carbonation which is surprising to me.
Drinkability: I would have another but only if there wasn't much on tap and this was their best stout.

Courtesy of Papsoe. 500 cl bottle. Aroma is slightly tart with very faint smoky notes and medium roastiness. Has a sort of soured chocolate sweetness as well. The body is flat black though it pours a dark ruddy brown and the head diminishes rather quickly to a lazy tan-colored oil slick. The fore is plastic/smokey like it was overdosed with peat and there is a tangy sweetness that is a bit rancid tasting. Very nice mouthfeel if slightly oily. So many have remarked on the sour notes I assume this is not an anomaly, but its certainly not something I go in for.
