At Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011, as Wintercoat India Gold IPA. Served too warm. Hazy golden colour. Fruity sweetish aroma. The flavour is very fruity, but far too sweet for an English IPA, and the bitterness is not impressive.

(From notes)
A - Straw yellow gold color, and poured with a thin white head
S - Flowery and citrus hop aromas, just a touch of maltiness
T - Flowery hops at first, followed by a biscuity malt and yeastiness (bready)
M - Viscous and smooth, coated the palate really well. Limited carbonation (cask). Almost creamy
D - Hugely drinkable, very nice and well packaged flavors that are spot on for the English IPA style. Well balanced and easy drinking. Still interesting as well.
Overall, thought this was a great example of the style and was a treat on cask. Definitely recommended.

OK, I admit it: I am a sucker for English ales on cask. And even more when it is served from a wooden cask!
The colour is copper, the liquid a bit hazy. There is a low white head.
The smell is fresh with a sourish hint. Fruits, citric hops, a bit sweet. I like it.
Mild citric hops, some bitterness, soft creamy malt. Flowery with a hint of broth.
The aftertaste is fruity/bitter with notes of grass and flowers. The long finish includes bitter citric notes.
The carbonation is very mild; the liquid creamy.
A really tasty IPA with a touch of American hops.
