Copenhagen 1/9 2018. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. As "Ørbæk Double Bock Beer". Checkered red and black label with a Goat's head.

Pours hazy amber with small, bubbly, white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing.

Aroma is sweet and slightly boozy. Caramel, brown sugar and lightly metallic alcohol. Solidly malty.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft texture. A little bit thin for a beer of this type.

Flavor is rather sweet followed by moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and with an alcoholic burn. Lingers for a while.

If you like it sweet and with a strong alcohol presence this might be an option. A bit too sweet for me.
