The colour is warm brown; the compact high head is warm beige. No lacing.
The smell is dry and somewhat bitter. There is an odd dry chemical note of soap, too.
The taste is... not as bad. A light sweetness and a nutty flavour, the tastes are overall soft and creamy. Bitter hoppy hints in the background as well as an off flavour of soap. Sweet mellow flavours give a good balance.
The carbonation is soft, the bubbles small. The liquid is a bit thick.
A fine interpretation of the style.

I feel that the Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale has a better aroma and a better overall taste than this beer.
A: Golden amber with 1 mm sustained head.
S: Smells of moderate malt blend, but does not have as strong of a nut smell as one would expect.
T: Tastes malty at first with slight hints of nut flavors. This beer actually tastes better at warmer temperatures, so let this one sit out of the fridge for a short while.
M: Medium carbonation with light-medium body.
D: This beer will taint your palate after finishing it, making it hard to enjoy another beer.
