Like Tyr, this beer is dark and warm-blooded.

Copenhagen 5/3 2022. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of an old medallion with a rendering of a lady with very long arms on the orange label.
Pours unclear darkly orange with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty scent with a touch of sugar mingling with grainy sourish odor. Caramel and toffee. Touch of brown sugar. Light spicy notes of cloves and anise.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily and a bit greasy, soft yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a light sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is sugary and a bit sticky.
More sweet than Belgian. I miss the yeasty touch.
