Organic Christmas stout in symbiosis between Ørbæk Brewery and Nyborg Distillery.
A full-bodied and spicy stout brewed with Danish malt. Before the beer is rounded off to perfection by aging in whiskey barrels from Nyborg Distillery, Christmas spices and a little of the distillery's own organic coffee liqueur are added.
A round, sweet, full-bodied and strong stout for true beer lovers.

Copenhagen 18/11 2023. 75 clv capped bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Off-white label with a roendering of a row of Pine trees and a shining Northern star.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized light beige head. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of dark roasted malts mingling with orange and Christmas Spice. Boozy whisky notes. Toffee and caramel. Anise and cloves. And the everpresent whiff of cinnamon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong tart bitterness. Aftertaste is tart and bitter with some citrus fruit bleeding through. Lingering. Finish is rich and a bit boozy.
They are pretty generous with the Christmas spices but there is some solid roasted malts and boozy wood in here.
