Copenhagen 13/2 2023. 50 cl bottle from Craft Makers Collective web-shop. Red label with a Ram’s head.
Pours clear golden amber with a big white head. Stable. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a scent of ripe fruit and alcohol. Sweet pale malts, overripe pear and metallic alcohol.
Low carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet and metallic.
Sweet, malty and a bit boozy.
