Like the Midgard Serpent, this beer is strong and powerful. Belgian monastery beer meets Nordic brewing craftsmanship in our spicy and fruity Ørbæk Blonde with notes of coriander, orange and banana.

Copenhagen 27/12 2022. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Orange label with a piece of jewelry resembling Jörmungandr the ancient Norse creature.
Pours unclear orange with a mid-sized white head. Bubbly. Settles as lonely patchy of foam floating in the middle of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with sweet fruits and alcohol. A touch of sourish. Sweet malts, banana, orange lemonade, metallic alcohol. Light whiff of butter.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, kind of flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter-sour. Lingers for a while finish is rather dry.
A sourish and not very Blonde or belgian experience.
