Copenhagen 28/1 2023. 75 cl corked bottle from Craft Makers Collective web-shop. Light outline of a tree on a dark background on the off-white label.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Disappears after a few seconds leaving a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty and roasted odor mingling bitter coffee and a whiff of dark alcohol. Dark roasted malts, toffee, black coffee (no sugar - a bit sharp), fumes of whisky.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, slightly viscous, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a boozy touch. Lingering. Finish is rather dry.
A bit boozy and austere Stout.
