The beer has a deep brown color. BRUIN has a complex scent with notes of plums and raisins.
The beer is rounded off with a sweet malt flavor, where you feel the chocolate and nuts of the roasted malt.

Copenhagen 19/10 2019. 75 cl bottle from Netto, Lygten, Kbh. NV. Brown-ish label with hop-flowers and the name of the Brewery and the beer.
Pours unclear amber with a medium-sized yellow-ish head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layervof foam just covering thecsurface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense, sweet and with a light, tart twist. Burnt carame, brown sugar, toffee. Very light basement odor. Some tart berries rummaging in the background.
Medium carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet caramel. Lingers for a while.
Only partially succesful mimicry of a Dubbel. Just as sweet but I miss the odor of musty basement and a prominent ABV.
