Ørbæk blonde is a well-known type of beer that has been brewed since the Middle Ages in Europe, especially in the Belgian monasteries. The beer has a beautiful golden color with a slightly sweet taste and a nose of caramel, dried fruits and banana. It is rounded off with a fine taste of malt and coriander. Blonde can be drunk with most dishes and is extremely suitable for cheese.

Copenhagen 20/9 2019. 75 cl bottle from Netto, Lygten, Kbh. NV. Yellow label with stylized hop flowers.
Pours unclear, golden amber with a small white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate Lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense, malty with sour sharp undertones. Sweet pale malts, grains, bread. Hints of grass. Sharp, lightly chemical notes.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly more moderate sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and a bit thin.
Pretty straight forward but a bit too sweet Blonde. Could use a little punch.
