Fynsk Påske is our version of a New England IPA with elderflower - we call it sunshine in a bottle. Like a true New England IPA, Fynsk Påske has a beautiful golden and hazy color. The beer is low in bitterness but high in scent and aromas of elderflower and citrus. The elderflowers give it freshness and acidity, and the mouthfeel is fresh and mild.
Fynsk Påske is perfect to drink raw, where it will remind you of the wonderful time we are facing, when the temperatures rise, the bees are buzzing and the elderflowers are popping out.

Copenhagen 17/4 2019. 50 cl bottle from Fakta, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh NV. Ørbæks Fynsk-design in green with a Easter Lily.
Pours hazy, golden amber with medium sized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweetish with a medium strong odor of citric bitterness peeking in. Sweet orange, melon and hints of peach. Citrus providing sour bitterness.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery and very light tingling texture.
Flavor is a bit thin but with a lemonade-ish quality. Medium sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter-sweet with a little dominance on the bitter side. Lingers shortly.
A bit thin for a hearty lunch. But it runs down and quenches the thirst.
