Copenhagen 3/8 2017. 50 cl bottle from Skjold Burne. Drawing of a boozy fellow with night cap and a big beer on the label.
Pours hazy amber with solid white head. Settles as patchy thin layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is prominent. Citrus, orange, lightly fermented fruit and slightly skunky.
Light carbonation with slightly thick palate. Flavor is quite sweet andfollowed by slightly stronger bitterness. A little rough but distinctly bitter. Aftertaste is bitter with an undercurrent of sweetness.
A little messy - but it manages to hide the considerable ABV quite well.
