Ørbæk Tripel is brewed with inspiration from the Belgian Trappist beers. The high alcohol content of this beer helps to give a full and sweet mouthfeel, which is rounded off with a mild hop flavor and a touch of coriander. Suitable for light and spicy food, where Ørbæk Tripel comes into its own.

Copenhagen 9/8-2017. 50 cl bottle from Skjold Burne. Drawing of dude from the seventies looking quite plastered on the label. Sipping a mug mug of beer of course.
Pours hazy orange with small white head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is pretty strong. Marzipan, alcohol with a sharp sour tang. Whiff of humid basement.
Light carbonation with thick oily palate.
Flavor is heavy sweet. Followed by medium bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet marzipan and alcohol.
Quite the sweet bomb with a punch.
