Ørbæk Classic is a traditional, fresh and lightly malted Bavarian beer, made with pilsner yeast. The hops we use help to give a "Czech twist" with a perfumed scent of flowers and light grapes.
In addition, we have also used two different caramelized malts, which in addition to giving the beer sweetness, also gives the well-known "Classic" taste and aroma that so many know and love.

Copenhagen 22/10 2017. 33 cl bottle from Meny. A lot of corn on the green label. I wonder if this means that I am in for an All Malt Experience - without any undue influence from hops or other troublemakers.
Pours hazy golden amber with a white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is not sweet malts. Rather something slightly sour - a bit chemical. Like hobby glue.
Medium strong carbonation and a slightly thick palate.
Flavor is medium sweet. Balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter hobby glue.
Nicely balanced - but I am not too crazy about the slightly chemical tang which I can't quite place.
