Copenhagen 24/12 2015. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Bearded Santa on the label to remind us that Christmas is approaching.
Pours slightly hazy copper brown with a white head. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam.
Aroma is quite fruity with sweet citrus fruit, elderberry and ripe peach in front.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is fairly fruity and tart as well. Sweetness from peach and oranges and sourness from citrus fruit. Medium bitterness in the aftertaste.
Apart from the portrait on the label this is not especially Christmaslike in any way. I would say it could supplement a hot summer day quite nicely. Nice and fruity. Might be just what you need in the dark months before Christmas.
