Copenhagen 18/12 2015. 75 cl bottle from Netto. We both have Santa, a reindeers and a ship to give it a maritime feel printed on the bottle.
Pours hazy orange brown with a white head. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer.
Aroma is fermented fruit, sugary notes and caramel. Raisins and plums. Toffee and caramel
Soft carbonation and thick palate.
Flavor is surprisingly to the bitter side. Caramel sweetness and fruity fermentation is followed by a distinct bitterness.
Nice one - where you can taste the Belgian inspiration.
