Ørbæk Rum Stout is a full-flowing beer with notes of coffee, chocolate, caramel, smoke and a twist of our own barrel-aged Fionia Rum. A beer that goes well with Desserts, strong cheeses and spicy dishes – can also be just enjoyed in a quiet moment in good company. We recommend that it be served at 8-12 degrees.

Copenhagen 18/5 2016. 50 cl bottle form Fakta. Big brown rum barrel on the label.
Pours opaque dark brown with a beige head. Settles as a thin almost transparent layer of foam. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is of brown sugar, bitter dark chocolate, coffee and little whiff of alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation and thick palate. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is sweet with a more subdued hint of bitterness. Aftertaste with sweet chocolate and something sweet and alcoholic that just might be Rum.
No bad way to get a comfortable buzz.
