Copenhagen 6/1 2017. 75 cl bottle from Rema1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Very informative label with a lot of text about beer drinking in medieval times and explanations about Asgardian deities.
Pours deep brown with a beige head. Stable. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is of sweet caramel, seaweed and coffee. Roasted. Hints of brown sugar.
Low carbonation and thin palate. Almost flat texture.
Flavor is quite sweet followed by a moderately strong coffee bitterness. Sweet lightly roasted aftertaste with light bitterness.
Nice if a bit thin Stout.
