Pours a hazy dark gold with barely-there cream-colored head that disappears right away. Aroma is of caramel-citrus and not much else. Flavor is similar with cereal and a hint of pine. Weak carbonation, dry (but flabby from the over-big malt character). Could definitely be cleaned up and made to pop more in the hop department. Could have been an okay version of an oldschool mid-west IPA/hoppy, but for the character of the hops it didn't really work. Also, it didn't seem any dryer than most beers, which doesn't really jive with the "Brut" label.
