This beer is a darker amber (nearly brown). It is clear with a decent head (for a bar pour). Even after it settles, the fine bubbles remain, leaving a coating of lace after each sip.
Nice blended aroma of mildly sweet malt and peppery hop.
Mild than the smell, probably because it tastes more malty. The is still present but it sits in the background. Some spicy/bitter aftertaste. Richer body with a correspondingly higher level of cabonation.
