Honey amber, largely clear and with minimal head. Leaves the barest collar.
Pungent oak, boozy marmalade and moderate nailpolish remover phenolics.
Much sweeter. Stewed apples, pears, dry herbs, chalky rockmelon. Bold but good flavours.
Big but even mouthfeel. Minimal carbonation with mild booze heat, but no way I'd guess 16% - feels more like 10%.
Some good work here. Rough in parts, no doubt, but plenty to like.
