Pours dark ruddy brown, but settles black. It forms a craggy (ontop) and bubbly (on the sides) mocha head, which is two fingers thick and fades slowly.
Aroma is dust, coffee, dark fruit, light plastic notes like of a CD, DVD or software wrapper and mild roasty elements which are dampened by the pervasive dusty aromas.
The flavor holds highly roasted, bitter coffee, but there is a marked thinness to this. Burnt bitterness is strong, but watery at the same time. Some vague cream and dark fruit sweetness, but mostly it is coffee bitter.
Its not very sweet stout-ish and its a touch thin, but its not at all unenjoyable to drink.
