Copenhagen 9/5 2016. 50 cl bottle from Føtex, Husum Torv, Husum. Very purple label taking you back to the end of the sixties/beginning of the seventies.
Pours hazy dark brown with a very small lightly beige head. Bubbly. Disappears immediately leaving something that looks like a coke that has lost its fizz. Not many points for "appearances".
Aroma is sharp and fruity at the same time. Fermented sweet fruit and Belgian yeast meets a sharp slightly chemical odour.
Soft carbonation and medium thick palate. Gently tingling texture.
Flavor has a little caramel sweetness which is soon drowned out by a distinct sourness. Aftertaste is sour with only faint sweet notes.
Surprisingly sharp and sour. In this case not a nice surprise.
