The colour is pale copper-gold; the medium high airy head slowly to a white lid, leaving some lacing.
The smell is hoppy with some fruity and a lot of dry bitter notes. Some nuts and bitter herbs, mild notes of somewhat roasted malts.
The taste is dry bitter with a lot of fruity hops, creamy malt with a roasted flavour (a hint of meat?). Lots of hoppy notes: Wax, bitter herbs, burnt potaoes The bitter/roasted aftertaste is long and balanced.
The carbonation is quite strong with lots of fresh small bubbles. Refreshing and a necessary balance to the somewhat heavy flavours. The liquid is a bit creamy.
