Olhão 17/7 2016. 33 cl can from Lidl. Strange enough seems the different beers in their Argus-brand to be produced at different breweries.
Pours very dark brown with an off-white head. Settles as a thin creamy layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Lacing on the side of the glass.
Thick aroma of caramel, light roast and brown sugar. A little butter.
Soft carbonation slightly thick palate. Gently tingling texture.
Flavor has a medium strong sweetness with a little roastiness. Followed by medium strong sourness. Bitter sour aftertaste.
Quite fine Dark Lager for a relatively cheap discount beer.

This was 39 cent from lidl in Lanzarote. 330ml can poured into a glass. It’s class all the way. Great big chewy coffee beans. Fizzy, black, lagery goodness. I was ready for this to be shit. It isn’t. It’s deadly.

From Lidl, in Legado de Yuste glass. Playing KB Dark Side. For being a black beer, I don't complelety dislike it. Maybe its because it has little coffee taste for being watered
