Can: Poured a clear golden color lager with a medium bubbly head with limited retention. Aroma of adjunct and residual sugar is not that enticing. Taste is also a mix of adjunct and residual sugar notes. Body is light with medium carbonation. Another adjunct based lager with a limited flavour profile.

From Mercadona. Its a pity that Mercadona changed the brewery that made this. Font Salem was drinkable, but the new one (Champigneulles) is junk, probable the worst lager ive ever drunk. Avg 2.
19 Junio 2029. En copa Teku. De Mercadona. Viendo Good Omens 1x05. Se ve que la haga quien la haga recibe instrucciones de hacer el brebaje mas insipido del mundo. Incluso inferior al nivel al que nos tiene acostumbradoa Fotn Sale. Perfil muy seco y plano

A: This beer pours pale golden, with a small white head that leaves some lacings after it dissipates rather quickly.
S: This almost has no smell at all - faint corn with a metallic twist...
T: Some malt, but it fades very fast to be replaced with corn and that funky metallic flavour from the smell.
M: No aftertaste what so ever, the body is really thin and the carbonation is heavy.
D: At the beach in Spain at high noon in the warmest, most sunny day of summer - then maybe, but otherwise I don't think so.

Firstly, damn you Andalusia for not taking beer seriously at all. Everything is just a forgettable fizzy yellow lager and this had better be the only place in the world where you can go to a bar and order "beer" with no name or qualifiers next to it. Steinburg is NOT german and is bottled in Valencia. Found this dirt cheap at Mercadona in a six pack of liters for straight up drinking with some new friends. Won't make that mistake again.
A--Many beers are said to look like urine, often unfairly. But they are at a disadvantage, being fizzy yellow drinks. However, Steinburg looks 100% like urine. It is not yellow, it is not golden, it is urine colored.
S--Corn and copper. Terrible and unappetizing.
T--Must be served insanely cold or is unpaletable. Could be tolerable if it didn't taste so strongly of corn and have no hops or balance or basically taste.
M--This fizz only serves to detract from the already awful taste. It feels like water in the mouth once the fizz is gone.
D--Not drinkable. 6 people only could stomach 2 liters over 2 days of drinking.

Drank late April, 2008. Consume before 23 Feb 2009.
Can find in 'Mercadona' stores in Spain. Haven't seen it anywhere else.
Pours ok head that stays merely seconds before settling down to some lacing, a fair amount of which sticks on the glass on the way down. A very clear very yellow-gold color.
Smell is actually awful. a little bit of corn is the redeeming feature. Other than that, there's a smell I can't quite place.. faintly metal and chemical, a little bit like the fake butter on really bad cheap microwave popcorn, but with a stronger metal bite. I've had plenty of cheap lagers, but this is the worst smell I've experienced. Leaves me wondering if it hasn't somehow rotted a bit in the can.
Taste is also quite bad. Very metal chemical with a little corn, a with a bit of a bite to it. No hop to speak of.
M/D - medium body, pretty fizzy and light. Drinkability is low due to the metal taste that sticks in your mouth at the end.
I think this is the first beer I actually didn't finish. ¾ of this went down the drain. Disappointing.
