Los Cristianos, Tenerife 21/3 2016. 33 cl can from minimarket in the center of the city. Very green can with a golden horse looking shy.

Pours clear yellow with a white head. Bubbly. Foam disappears completely after half a minute. No lacing.

Aroma is malty sweet and quite metallic. Corn and maize.

Medium strong carbonation and watery palate. Thin, lively and tingling texture.

Flavor is watery with a malty sweetness followed by a light grainy sourness. Unpleasant metallic aftertaste.

I can understand why the horse on the can looks quite timid. Most of its feed has gone in to this brew.

Jan. 2006: 330 ml can, bought in Tenerife. Named Wuld Pilsen, Quality Premium Beer. Crystal clear and very pale golden colour, lasting foamy head and nice lacing. Fruity and grassy aroma. Soft mouthfeel with a very subdued flavour, very moderate hops. No offensive side-flavours detected. A tolerable industrial pale lager for the Spanish sun.
