Poured a dark copper with little carbonation and no head retention whatsoever

The smell was sweet and malty with mix of plastic, almost like a rubbermaid container. Smell threw me off real bad.

Taste was very sweet and malty. I kept waiting for the hops but was unable to really pick them out due to the overwhelming sweetness.

Overall this brew is pretty poor. Carbonation could help as well as some hops. Ik still cant get over the plastic aroma.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours pale amber with little head and no lacing.

The aroma is mild with some bready malts and a hint of earthy hops. There is some caramel sweetness, but only faintly.

Slightly toasted malts and earthy hops dominate, though they're certainly not packing a lot of punch. Hop bitterness is present but faint - pretty thin bodied overall.

Not terrible, but really nothing to stand out, especially as an attempt at an IPA. Drinks more like a decent APA.

Had this on draft at the brewery, not a bad place to hang out but the beer could use some serious cleaning up.

Appearance: Deep copper, low CO2, no head retention

Mouthfeel;: Medium, slick

Smell: Malt, then soft plastic phenols of the type given off by wild yeast. Can't find the hops due to high phenol level.

Taste: Big sweet malt then plastic (band-aid) phenols into a soft finish. Reminds me of infected homebrew with 'ring around the collar'.

Just don't have anything good to say about this beer, even though I am told they sell a lot of it. I feel cheated that I actually paid for the dammed pint but I wanted to give it a fair chance before I wrote this evaluation. . . at least I did not notice the diactyl here.

Pours an orange coppery colour wit ha smallish head that has a good amount of stickiness to it, but minimal retention time.

The aroma is hoppy, but balanced well with malt. The hops are faintly floral, and there's also a dirtier breadlike feel to here along with some sweet caramel malt.

The flavour is definitely leaning toward the English IPA style: hoppy but subdued and a good amount of bread/biscuit/earthy flavouring. Each sip has a nice biting bitter finish. Well balanced all around. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied. Could be a touch crisper.

Not bad, not great. Fairly run of the mill but still nicely balanced and flavourful, just a bit common. A nice version of the style for sure, just nothing here that stands out to make it memorable. Try it and it likely won't disappoint, but it won't blow you away either.
