The final of three beers that a good friend brought over from Germany, Ingolstadt to be precise. This one was stamped "14 05 14" and was a 1/3 liter bottle (33 cl).
It looks like an American adjunct lager, with a bit more of a bright-yellow color to it. The white head fizzled to a wisp. The scent is faintly sour (grapes, lemon), grass, a bit of yeast. The taste is OK - a hint of malt, more grass, tongue-depressor-type wood, some corn, barley. A sweetness hits on the back-end, but it's not cloying. Very refreshing, and the carbonation is muted and not bubbling all over the place where you can't taste the ingredients.
