The first smell is a light but not overpowering hint of black cherry. The appearance is a dark almost black amber with a beautiful half inch taupe head. From an extremely smooth silky feel to the clean finish that has a lingering coffee/cherry/chocolate taste on the tongue is something you won't soon forget. I had this for the first time over 2 years ago & it was a long wait before they had it again & it was well worth the wait. It is a rare brew that every time you have it & with every drink, it is like you are having it for the first time.

Deep rustic brown color and transparent with scarlet when held to light. Small tannish head leaves very little lace.

I smell nothing. Maybe a slight bit of roasted burnt chocolate. No cherry.

An ever so slight cherry component in the mouth. This is more of there regular porter than anything. Roasty, with hints of chocolate. A medium thin mouthfeel. An all around average porter/fruit beer.
