I first had this last night (and then decided to bring home a growler). The head disappeared quickly, so there was not much of an aroma to speak of.
The beer is FANTASTICALLY dark in appearance, almost as black as the background on this hallowed website.
The taste is amazing. Hints of smokiness, unmalted barley, chocolate, and black patent malt abound. Not sure about the alcohol content, it doesn't really stick out, so I would imagine its not that high.
The mouthfeel is heavenly. It swirls around on the palate, and is inviting all-around, which leads to the drinkability, being exceptionally high. Amazing.
One of the best oatmeal stouts I've ever had. Smooth and sexy.
